Pupil Protect vs Medical Tracker

Medical Tracker is a medical and incident recording system for schools, with medicines, care plans and a digital accident book. Health in Pupil Protect does the same job alongside Safeguard, so what happens in the medical room sits with the rest of the child’s record.

The main differences are how they connect to safeguarding, and that Health comes with every Pupil Protect plan rather than being bought on its own.

When Medical Tracker may suit you better

No system is right for every school. These are fair reasons to choose Medical Tracker.

  • You only want a medical and accident system, without a safeguarding records system.
  • You already use CPOMS and want medical incidents sent to it.
  • You use Schoolcomms to message parents.

Moving from Medical Tracker

We bring your records across and your DSL checks them before anything goes live.

How switching works

Can we bring our medical records across?

Coming soon: importing conditions, medicines and incident history. Until then, keep your Medical Tracker export for past incidents.

Do we pay extra for Health?

No. Health is included in every plan, with Safeguard, which holds each child's conditions, allergies and healthcare plans.
