Pupil Protect vs Tes Clarity

Tes Clarity gives trusts and local authorities reporting built on their schools’ Tes MyConcern data. Insight in Pupil Protect does the same job for schools using Pupil Protect.

The main differences are how much of a pupil’s record the trust can see, and what’s published about trends and board reports.

When Tes Clarity may suit you better

No system is right for every school. These are fair reasons to choose Tes Clarity.

  • Your schools already use Tes MyConcern and you want trust reporting without changing system.
  • You're a local authority, which Tes says Clarity is designed for.
  • You want to export the data and build your own reports.

Moving from Tes Clarity

We bring your records across and your DSL checks them before anything goes live.

How switching works

Do our schools have to move at the same time?

No. Each school can move on its own date.

Do we lose last year's figures for comparison?

Coming soon: importing records with their original dates, so Insight can compare with last year from the start. Until then, comparisons with last year begin once a school has a year of records in Pupil Protect.
