Pupil Protect vs VisiPoint

The main differences are the safeguarding steps at the kiosk and the hardware each one runs on.

| Fire roll call | On your phone at the assembly point, shared live with everyone who has it open. It opens on the people not yet seen, and the missing count is logged when you finish. | Emergency lists. |

When VisiPoint may suit you better
No system is right for every school. These are fair reasons to choose VisiPoint.
- You want purpose-built kiosk hardware from the same supplier.
- You only want visitor management, without a safeguarding records system.
- You want staff timesheets from the same system.
Moving from VisiPoint
We bring your records across and your DSL checks them before anything goes live.
Can we keep our visitor history?
Export your visitor log from VisiPoint for the period you need to keep. Coming soon: importing visitor history into Pupil Protect.
Can we reuse our VisiPoint kiosk?
Visitors runs in a web browser, so a kiosk that runs a modern browser and can print through it can be used. Badges print through the browser, without a print dialog in the browser's kiosk mode with silent printing.
